How GACS Automotive collects, uses, and protects information submitted through finance pre-check, Find My Car, sell/trade, contact, and booking workflows.

What we collect
We collect the contact and request details you submit, which may include name, email, phone, preferred contact method, city, vehicle type and criteria, budget and down-payment ranges, employment and income ranges, self-reported credit range, trade-in details (year/make/model/trim, VIN, mileage, condition, lien/payoff), photos you upload, your reason for contacting us, consent selections, and any message you include.
We may also keep operational records such as request history, appointment status, follow-up notes, and internal notes needed to support your request. A finance pre-check is an intake, not a credit application — we do not collect SIN, banking details, or full credit-application data through the website forms. Any full credit application happens later, with your consent, through an approved secure process.
How we use it
We use your information to respond to inquiries, prepare finance pre-checks, source or match vehicles, review trade-ins, schedule appointments, send transactional messages, maintain business records, and improve the website and process.
Cookies & tracking
This website does not currently run third-party analytics or advertising tracking. If we add analytics or conversion-measurement tools in the future, this policy will be updated to describe them, and any such tools may use cookies, pixels, or similar technologies that you can control in your browser settings.
GoHighLevel / CRM data
Form submissions, appointment details, consent records, and follow-up records may be stored in GoHighLevel, the CRM and automation platform used by GACS. Do not submit information you do not want stored in the CRM. To correct or delete a record where legally permitted, email support@gacsautomotive.ca.
Finance partners & sharing
If you proceed toward financing, your information may be shared with lenders or finance partners only as needed to review your request, with your consent. We share information only with operational vendors needed to run the business (CRM, booking, email, SMS, website tools). We do not sell or rent personal information.
Your rights
You may ask what personal information we hold, correct inaccurate information, withdraw marketing consent, or request deletion where legally permitted. Email support@gacsautomotive.ca.
Retention
Request, appointment, and transaction records may be retained as required for tax, accounting, operational, quality-control, and dispute-resolution purposes. Marketing records are retained until consent is withdrawn or the record is no longer needed.
SMS / email consent (CASL)
By submitting, you agree GACS Automotive may contact you by phone, text, or email about your request. Message/data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out of texts at any time. We handle your information per our Privacy Policy and do not sell it. When a form includes a consent checkbox, that consent may allow GACS to send transactional messages such as booking notices, reminders, and follow-ups by email or SMS. Marketing consent is separate and optional. Reply STOP to opt out of SMS at any time, or use unsubscribe links in marketing email.
Security
GACS uses practical administrative and vendor-based safeguards for website, CRM, booking, and follow-up workflows. No online system is guaranteed to be risk-free. Do not submit sensitive personal, financial, or identity documents (SIN, banking, ID) by regular text or email — only through a method we specifically request for an approved step.
